  • Trevor Boyd

    Trevor has coached across multiple organizations for the last 9 years in recreational and select baseball teams for ages 5 - 10. He is currently a head coach for a 10U select baseball team. Trevor started playing baseball at age 5 and is passionate about the game, helping kids achieve their goals and focuses on continually expanding his knowledge of the game. “I love to incorporate a good balance of fun while also taking the game serious.”

  • Cecil Long

    Coaching is one of Cecil’s passions. “Seeing players elevate their skills and applying them at game time is one of the best feelings a player and a coach could have.” Cecil also believes in the importance of having fun and loving the game and he brings this to his style of teaching. He has played for most of his life and has been actively coaching for over 4 years.

  • Taylor Satchell

    Satchell comes to 88 Stitches following a successful playing career at LSU and Texas Tech. A native of Rayne, Louisiana, Satchell spent her freshman and sophomore season at LSU (2016, 2017). During her time in Baton Rouge, Satchell had a .382 batting average with a .555 slugging percentage and played in 21 games making 11 starts.

     After two seasons with the Tigers, Satchell went on to play at Texas Tech for the remainder of her career. In her senior campaign, Satchell earned NFCA All-Region Third-Team honors where she started in all 58 games at shortstop for the Red Raiders with a .296 batting average. Satchell finished second on the team with 10 home runs, 11 doubles, seven sacrifice bunts and 81 RBIs.

    Following her collegiate career, Satchell started teaching and coaching softball at Denton High School in August of 2020 through December of 2021. In January 2022 Taylor joined the UTA Softball staff as the Volunteer Assistant Coach where she helped with hitting, outfield, and catching.

    She has been giving private softball lessons for the last 5 years. Throughout her college career she was a true utility and used that versatility to continue growing the younger generation of the game in all aspects. These include speed and agility, pitching, catching, fielding, and hitting.

    Her main goal is to grow these athletes in the game but most importantly in life and as young women.

  • Kristie Redmon Pitman

    Kristie has coached across multiple organizations for the last 20 years in recreational and select softballs teams for ages 6-16. She previously gave hitting, pitching, catching and fielding lessons to young girls in the Denton, Decatur, Haslet & Keller areas before joining the 88 Stitches team.

    Kristie started playing softball at age 6 and continued thru high school where she received numerous awards (All Conferece, All District, All State). She was recruited by several colleges and landed at Wayne State where she played first and third base as well as catcher. She continued to play fast pitch on women’s leagues and coed slow pitch until Covid hit in 2020.

    Kristie loves helping kids/teens develop their skills and knowledge to have a better understanding of softball. “It makes me incrediby happy to see these young ladies grow & sharpen their skills! I love watching their confidence grow!”
